Ground floor – Guest room 1

Renovation summary

The project concerns an individually rented ground-floor room. The room is private, with access to shared floor facilities: bathroom, kitchen and dining room. The work was carried out from January to May 2026.

Room

• Removal of the old bathroom located inside the room.
• Decommissioning of former water and drainage connections.
• Decommissioning of the former gas inlet by the utility provider.
• Ordering and installation of a new window meeting more modern standards.
• Installation of rails, plasterboard, plaster finishing and painting.
• Spray insulation carried out by a specialist company.
• New electrical installation with circuits dedicated to the floor.
• Installation of a network connection for LAN and Wi-Fi repeater.
• Installation of an air-to-air trisplit heat pump for the whole floor.
• Floor work: levelling, insulation and laminate flooring.
• Furnishing of the room.

Shared floor areas

• Creation of a shared bathroom with shower, wall-hung toilet, washbasin and VMC.
• Tiling work.
• Installation of a reused and restored kitchen.
• Replacement of old single-glazed windows with double glazing.
• Spray insulation carried out by a specialist company.
• Complete renewal of water supply lines using PER and copper.
• Installation of an air-to-air trisplit heat pump.
• Removal of the old gas heating system.
• New dedicated electrical installation for the floor with a new distribution panel.
• Rails, plasterboard, suspended ceilings, plaster finishing and painting across the different areas.
• Joinery repairs and adjustments.
• Suspended ceilings to improve acoustic insulation.
• Creation of an access to the garage through the existing wall, including door installation.
